Our Board is excited about our continued partnership with the Wells Fargo Foundation, making it possible for the CV REP to present a Children's Outreach Production from April 26-May 6 2011.
CV REP’s Children’s Outreach Production will be a musical called CAPTAIN LOUIE by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin & Wicked). Once again CV REP will partner with the education department of the Palm Springs Art Museum to present an educational and entertaining musical which will be presented at the Annenberg Theater.
It is our plan to bus children from local Coachella Valley schools to experience this inspiring production. There will be a public performance on Saturday, April 30 at 2pm. Tickets will be available for purchase through Annenberg box office. We will keep you posted!

Coachella Valley Repertory (CV REP) 2010/11 Season
On October 7th, CV REP presented, in partnership with the AIDS Assistance Program of Palm Springs, DRAMA to DRAG, Provincetown History meets Palm Springs’ Future. This exciting event showcased the work of historic playwrights who wrote some of America’s most famous plays while spending their summers in Provincetown.
Drama to Drag included selected scenes from well-known theatrical masterpieces, and featured sensational live performances from the The Kinsey Sicks, one of Provincetown’s most successful nightclub acts, recently billed by the San Francisco Chronicle as ‘outrageous.’ Guests will were also treated to a performance from local drag troupe, Les Originals. The evening was hosted/narrated by Broadway singer/actor, Danny Gurwin.
Coachella Valley Repertory (CV REP) 2009/10 Season
The Coachella Valley Repertory (CVREP) partnered with the Palm Springs Art Museum as a part of their Education Program. (Download Press Release)
This production was a part of the Museum’s free family “Second Sunday of the Month Series,” which kicked off on October 11, 2009.
CV REP presented Reflections of Lino, an original performance piece in association with the museum’s art installation of the world renowned glass artist, Lino Tagliapietra. Like his extraordinary glass art which has beautiful movement, color and light; CV REP’s goal was to reflect Mr. Tagliapietra’s work through theatrical lighting, music, dance and narrative.
The artistic staff included original music by one of Hollywood’s most successful composers, Nathan Wang, Dance which will be choreographed by Kate Hutter, the Artistic Director of the LA Contemporary Dance Company and performed by members of their company. Original script by Jonathan Dorf, a playwright who has focused primarily on youth-oriented plays which have been performed all over the world. Lighting, Sound and Projection design was by the Annenberg Theatre staff designers, Moira Wilkie and Dave Simpson. Costumes were designed by Aalsa Lee. Directing this fine team of artists was Ron Celona.
